HOLD Labs

HOLD Labs is a puzzle platformer about a private research facility that is doing some research on a new kinds of material. This new material that they have developed, shows quite strange and unique properties under different temperatures. Heating makes it lighter and cooling makes it heavier, all this while still maintaining the structural integrity.

But the most weirdest thing is, in between all this science mumbo-jumbo, somehow you've been chosen to "help" HOLD Labs in doing some tests on this new material. Why they selected you, they don't say. So will you be able to complete all the tests?

Theme and Limitation:

This game was created as a submission for the Flame Game Jam 3.0. Theme for this jam was Hot and Cold. This game uses the fact the heating and cooling causes a change in the kinetic energy of atoms and molecules. Also, the name HOLD is a word play on the theme, HOTCOLD.

The jam also had 3 limitation out of which one had to implemented. This game  uses the Multiple Endings limitation. I won't spoil the endings, but I'll just say that there are 2 of them 😅. If you've seen both, please don't spoil them for others.
